Trails, Parks + Outdoor Activities near our Hotel

Portland is the kind of city where you can find yourself surrounded by nature just a handful of miles from downtown’s buzzy dining and shopping scene. It’s paradise for anyone who wants to get their caffeine fix at a local coffee shop before they hit the trails. A variety of local nature parks offer up hikes, biking trails and even trails for horseback riding (giddy-up!). Whether you’re after a 90-minute nature walk with your pup or something a little more challenging, you’ll find it all within a short drive of Kimpton RiverPlace Hotel. Portland’s urban parks are less secluded-in-the-woods and more incredible city greenspaces. They offer an eclectic mix of attractions from open-air reservoirs and a playground at Mount Tabor Park to the Oregon Zoo and a renowned rose garden at Washington Park. And when you’re ready to kick off your hiking boots (or just kick back and relax) make your way back to the hotel where you’ll find amenities like yoga mats and in-room spa services to help you unwind in style.
